We all know that Hyuuga Clan is distant relatives to the Uchiha Clan.
We also know that Uchiha Clan and Senju Clan are related to each other.
We know that Rikudou Sennin had two sons and those sons became Senju Clan and Uchiha Clan.

Here's your answered: The clan itself is said to be the ancestors of the Uchiha clan who possess the bloodline of the Sharingan eye.

Oh, I see. I didn't know that. Well, it maybe so...but, its a very distant relation and I don't see anything wrong with it.

The bloodline is too far down the gene pool to matter anymore. So, no, they're not related.
