Yep, the Japanese word is "Naruto" for that pink and white fish piece with the swirl on it. A standard ingredient to ramen and miso soup.

You'll see a lot of food references in names for anime's. I laughed pretty hard when I found out what Sasami meant.

Gohan = Rice in Japanese and yes Goku = Flying theres alot of references like Arrianna said.
