Re: Naruto Ripped off Cowboy Bebop and Some Kung Fu Movie

Done.

The video was clearly made with a strong bias against Naruto. It's the same two parts over and over + some added worthlessness. The animation copying has been known for a long time already as well.
Many Cowboy Bebop fighting animations are in fact copies as well. Mostly of Bruce Lee since Spike fights with Bruce Lee's moves.

I once even heard that some of the people who worked on Cowboy Bebop work on Naruto as well. Which would explain the copying even more. However, I do not know if this is true.

Drawing good fight scenes must be pretty hard. Certainly if you only have very limited time. They have a new episode every week or so, that surely brings down the animation quality.

.
really? i havent heard that one. it could also be, they wanted naruto's moves to be more beliveable (well, the taijutsu) and they just happened to use the same style as spike uses. then again, maybe not

Re: Naruto Ripped off Cowboy Bebop and Some Kung Fu Movie

I must admit that the I.Q. of this person must be through the roof as he even noticed that Rock Lee: an amazingly fast and strong Taijustsu specialist shares a similar name to Bruce Lee.

It's interesting, but stops there. Thankfully I prefer the manga and get to imagine the moves and/or, re-inact them whilst reading the book

Good find however.

Rock On!

Re: Naruto Ripped off Cowboy Bebop and Some Kung Fu Movie

Imitation is the highest form of flattery.

Bruce Lee, Rock Lee. I'm pretty sure this part was on purpose. Anyway, this person most likely simply dislikes Naruto. What does he expect Masashi Kishimoto to do, create his own completely original fighting style for each and every character? Then someone could just say that the fighting is unrealistic. I'm sure Kishimoto would like to show his respect for classics like Cowboy Bebop and fighters like Bruce Lee as well.
