In the manga though, when we saw Sasuke last, it looked like he had a major upperhand. I'm not sure if the sae training would make much difference. Orochimaro also said"Best not use THAT jutsu here." I think he was worried because it was a very stron and powerful jutsu. The outcome is very hazy and difficult to see. I honestly think it might just be evenly matched. The creators might even intend for that to be so.
Sasuke is much more matured, skilled and wise. While Naruto is a heart of gold..a true leader--a motivator. I would say Naruto, a true Hokage.

I think Sasuke will beat the crap out of Naruto, but then Naruto will release his 15th tail and beat the crap out of Sasuke. Then Sasuke will realize that he is not evil and everything will be good in Konoha. All battle will be followed by Sakura crying a river.
Sasuke's Power is one he depends on way too much. Whether he uses the sharingan or the curse mark (or both) it seems like he always gets himself out of situations by using his "ultimate" gifts. Honestly, I thought Sasuke was a much more interesting character when he eyes were first developing and there was a limit to their ability, and also once we learned that repeated use will make him go blind. It put a much needed restriction on the ability.
Naruto's power, however, is his worst enemy. The nine-tails is not anything he ever wanted or asked for, and repeated use means he gets either closer to death or closer to being overtaken by it. Most of Naruto's fights don't just consist of him fighting an enemy, but also holding back the nine-tails. It was not a power he had the luxury of repeatedly leaning on, unlike Sasuke.
And, honestly, we had to watch Sasuke whine for 200 episodes of Naruto and what, 150+ episodes of Shippuuden, about Itachi. Naruto vented for half an episode about the nine-tails to his old man, and then beat the snot out of Pain.
Naruto = Gutsy ninja
Sasuke = whiney child
I would also like to note that Sage Mode sucks. Why don't we just start introducing characters with tails from other planets who fly here in little sphere spacecrafts who grow up to fight green dudes in one of 5 cities in the world (North, South, East, West, Central) and train on an island by a perverted martial artist who teaches amphibious techniques. Wait a sec...

i think that naruto will win, but thats becase the older he gets the stronger he gets, and besides he never gives up.. and yes i think he will be able to control the nine tailed fox..
i think naruto will win. naruto has alot more stamina and thats how he will win the fight he will just out last him.
everyone seems to think that naruto is slow dumb but he seems to master all his jutsu pritty fast.
and if ppl read the manga naruto learns to control the 9-tails.
