Naruto - what's the big deal?

Man, that is the friggin longest image sig ever. You deserve either a medal or verbal abuse.

In any case, yes, the naruto anime is extremely tedious. I like the story just fine, and I also like the animation, but far too little gets done per episode. I very much like the manga.

I also happen to like bleach, although I'm scared about the english dub.

The reason it's so big, I think, is that one can easily identify with the characters, whether you are old, young, male, or female. Not to mention it's about ninja. Lots of ninjas. One ninja is cool, a few hundred ninja are awesome, a few thousand, now that's orgasmic. In all seriousness, however, regardless of the method similarities between the story telling technique of naruto, inu yasha, and DBZ, naruto has somewhat fresh content. Frankly, I'm sick of samurai, magic girl, giant robot, drama, and space anime.

Yeah, I watched a couple of it, and i'm not obsessed. Although it was really cool.

I have no clue why it's so obbsesive get away while you still can....lol.jk

Naruto himself gets on my nerves...but otherwise, i think its ok.

Naruto is the heir to the DBZ throne. Some people joke that it's the next InuYasha. Some say that it's the next DBZ. Both true in their own right. Naruto has an okay storyline and the battles are pretty good. It's the latest fad franchise out now. Just wait till Bleach comes out on [adult swim] in a couple months. You'll be hearing all about Bleach and how awesome it is. The fanboys and the fangirls will squeal your ears until you become deaf from all of the squealing.

lol agreed. i strongly recommend the manga - i'm pretty sure you'll change your mind after that. about the comment on bleach, i'll have to agree on that as well. naruto and bleach - i'd say there's a pretty big rivalry going on there lol. :2thumbs:

although Naruto has bin going longer then Bleach anime eps wise, bleach does has a better storyline n i think tht bleach jus abt edges out with battle scenes. Both of the series are pretty level with each other
