Neji vs Sasuke pre-skip(chunnin exam)

Neji vs sasuke during the chunnin exams....who wins????

I personally think sasuke on this one, but theres not much info to back me up on this.

What are you talking about…“pre-skip chunnin exam” this never happened and never will. Do you want to discuss a battle between them at the point in time just before the Chunin Exam Arc? Based on the skills that they had at that moment in the series?

I don't see much point in debating a fight between these 2 characters at all much less at that point in time as it has little to no viability in actually happening in the series. Not to mention Neji has a lot of talent but isn’t even close to being on the same level as Sasuke right now in the manga…

None the less this could lead to actual discussion BUT if I don’t see actual valid reasons for who would win in this thread I will close it.

when i say pre-skip i am talking about b4 the shippuden series, and when i said chunnin exam i meant during the last stage of the chunnin exams. You know during the time when sasuke fought Gaara and naruto fought neji......

We all know that Sasuke wasnt as good as Neji right before or even during the first part of the chunnin exam, but what im asking is who would win of those two after Sasuke went through that month or so of training with Kakashi to fight Gaara. When Sasuke was wearing the black uniform.

I am not referring the Shippuden, so forget the manga right now, and thinnk DUB

well i think that neji would have won cause as chiefblackhammer stated sasuke was not on neji's level even with the new attaind speed and the chidori one thousand birds move he still couldn't beat him because of neji's byakugan he'd be beat the only way he would beat neji a that point is if he released his cursed seal thats the only way.

I am leaning to Sasuke I think that the speed would be to much for neji there is no point in the show that shows that neji can handle the increable speeds attained by sasuke. I don't think that the chidori would help much because I don't think it could penetrate the rotation though. Neji isn't fast enough to get around the sharingan that will let sasuke see all of neji's moves. Then sasuke could resort to the curse seal which will boost his power enough to dominate neji.

Sasuke's and Neiji's strong points seem to be their taijutsu. With Sasuke's sharingan he would be able to read Neiji's movements, but on the other hand Neiji can pretty much deflect anything with his rotation. Also with Neiji's ability to block the chakra points he would have have to hit Sasuke a few good times to immobilize him. While Naruto had the second stream of chakra he was able to still move, and luckily won.

The one thing that would be undecided would be Sasuke's chidori, so I am still unsure how it would play out if he were to execute that.

So I would say Neiji, but thats just me. I have never liked Sasuke too much anyway either.

I also agree that neji would win. the only reason naruto stood a chance is because of his second stream of chakra

very interesting match...u see its these sort of things i usually dont think about...
but im gonna have to say sasuke:)because if naruto could beat him,most likely sasuke
could.even though i think they are equally strong
