The attempt to make this Dragon Ball adaption appealing to the american public was the wrong choice as it seems.
They should have tried to make the movie interesting for the Dragon Ball fans, rather than for the general public.
It's not like that there wouldn't be enough DB fans. <:
The way it is now, no one is really interested in the film, the fans definitely not and the general public and people who haven't heard of Dragon Ball yet don't know where to put this film and will either not watch it or won't like it.
Anyway, I'll watch it this friday, and seriously this film seems so bad, I bet I'll totally like it.It's often that way. I definitely have to see this movie.

P.S: They had $100 Million to produce a mere 100 minutes of the movie. And FOX has the money. They could've done better, buuuttt that's against Hollywood's policy of butchering pretty much every adaptation/historical facts.

I couldn't care less if you see it or not, but if you do have to see it in theaters, sneak in and don't pay. Do not give these douchebags money for screwing up an anime, or else they will screw up more.
Pay for a ticket for something else and go see DB: Evolution. or get it bootlegged. Don't pay a cent for this crap!

U know how everyone thought the Dragon ball movie looked like it would suck. well....It didn't. it was awesome. i can't wait for the next movie to come out.Is anyone here wanting to see the second one or the first one.?
To die would be a great adventure, but to live is the greatest adventure of all.
I've heard there will be sequels, and I hope they recast a little and start slapping their scriptwriters before production. Dude, I don't want to psuedo mod or anything, but we like already have a thread on this. And there's a ton of information on it there too.

iv seen the new dragon ball movie but only have way trew because i fell asleep i got bored.
Wow! you guys liked it. I kind of thought it was boring, the characters don't match the real Dragon ball characters at all
