Super Saiyan???

"Every 1000 years a Super Saiyan will arise. He will surpass all limits and have immeasurable power. Whoever achieves this level will be the most dominate being in the universe."

These words, in Dragonball Z, pretty much tell us 'The Legend of the Super Saiyan'.

So is Goku this being, was there another one or will there be someone else who attains a status beyond Goku's? What about Brolli, how does that character figure in? I would like to hear a bunch of opinions on this, as i read something and i wondered how others felt?

Brolly is supposedly the Legendary Super Saiyan, but he's only a movie character therefore he is noncanon which means he has no place in the actual storyline.

i agree with innerhell brolly was the legendary super saiyan but eventually everybody will get surpased

there was an obscure debate over whether or not brolly was really the legendary super saiyan or really just a catalyst for the true one, Goku. i personally think that goku is the legendary saiyan because he is always the first to reach teh next level (except for in the cell games with gohan).

Catalyst, I agree.... I have always wondered about goten though, super-saiyan at such a young age?

yea brolly is the only person tht gave goku a run for his money i guess hes supposed ta be the SUPER SAIYON or watnot

i think the super sayain was suposed to be vegeta because it took him
longer to become one ,but who's to say that anyone them were because if it only
happens every 1000 years only one of them was suposed to become one and
all them were the same

vegeta was also like a catalyst for goku.

and Goten/trunks are like the next generation. remember that they are not pure saiyan. i think that their human blood makes them jump out of their 1000 year period to become legendary SS.
thin about it. Gohan is undisputable the strongest fighter when he gets really pissed.
Goten and trunks turn SS at like 10 years old or something.

but Goku always goes to the next level first. so i think those above mentioned are all "the legendary SS"
