Why Did They Make Dragonball Z go off the air.

It MAkes Me pissed that they stop making seasons after the third season I love that show and dragon ball gt I think it is lame I mean the show Ranma 1/2 has 7 seasons and they stoped on the third it pissed me off what about you Why did They take it off they had more money then they needed do you know why.

Have you ever thought that the timing was wrong in some parts.

Kids were moving on`~

People didn't want to see Goku keep dying, or see Gohan keep babying about his life.

There was nothing left. They left at a good part. A good time. To make people really get off there butts and buy GT, which was a fall back.

Still DBZ is like FLCL.

6 eps is all you need to love something so great~

I mean i really wanted to see goku beat Evil Shinron, but it ended for i could see it oh well I'll just download it from some where

Ranma 1/2 has 161 episodes spread out over 7 seasons... + 3 movies + 11 episode OVA

compared to ...
Dragon Ball 153 episodes + 3 moves
Dragon Ball Z 291 episodes + 13 Movies + 2 TV specials + 2 episode OVa
Dragon Ball GT 64 episodes + 1 Special

So why the complaint against Ranma 1/2??? The reason why Dragon Ball Z ended was that the original Manga author got tired of the series and stopped writing the story. And with TOEI Studios having other block buster hits such as 'One Piece', 'Sailor Moon', 'Digimon', and 'Pretty Cure', there isn't much demand to bring a the series back (which is what Dragon Ball GT tried to do...)

I can't say that I was sad that Dragonball Z ended...the show was good, but jeeeeeeez did it take forever. I'm sorry, but five episodes consisting of nothing but powering up, then another five of just talking was really boring.

They aired some of GT over on YTV, and that show just seemed horrible. It was a tired series, and having Goku become a kid again didn't freshen anything up.

OMG~!! Your right. Thats why it was sooo long. 5 eps of powering up, 10 of talking.

Not to forget the repetitive plot... After the second season, I just stopped watching it... couldn't take the lack of creativity in the plot development.

People say they gave up after the Freaza saga, some say the trunks.

I think I went all the way. I still haven't seen the last ep yet. (u_u)

But yes after the repeating plot, it did get triedly~
