My eyes fluttered open as my nose was re-introduced to the smell of the disgusting blood that lingered on my hand still. I looked around and spotted Justin leaning against the alley wall, as his lips slightly wrapped around the cigarrette as he inhaled. He let out a long stream of smoke as his eyes moved over to me.
"I see you're awake now."
He finished his cigarette and walked over to me as I began to stand up. He smiled at me and I just stood there staring, nothing but staring.
"You're....You're....You're alive"
"Yes....Yes...Yes I am.."
She scuffed and rolled her eyes at him.
"Still sarcastic I see..."
"Well dying doesn't change a man.. Well sometimes."
"Yeah... So the night that I thought I saw you die... You didn't?"
"Oh no I did die, it's what you missed after you left me there."
"And what was that."
He reached into his breast pocket and pulled out another cigarette as if he knew this story was going to be long. He tilted his head to the side as he pulled the lighter to his cigarette and lit it. He inhaled and then pulled the lit cigarette from his lips. He then exhaled as he begun to speak.
Kenchi grinned as he kept his cool with the gun, "Die?" he asked himself, "Somebody said that to me once, but instead of trying to kill me themselves, they sent a goon after me at my apartment." he pulls the trigger again, firing a couple more rounds.
He let out the last puff of his cigarette as his story was finished. He looked at her for a second then looked away.
"So you see, She came as I was bleeding out. And after you ran after my killer ..Thanks by the way for that."
"Yeah no need to worry about him, he is beyond dead."
"Yeah I know, Well so she changed me into what you are... I am still mad you didn't tell me about you being a Dranger."
"Well not all things I share, and just so happens ....this is beyond cliche...but I was going to tell you the night you died."
"Mhm sure." He had laughed a little bit.
"Yeah yeah. Come on lets go."
"Go where?"
"My house, where else."
He rolled his eyes and walked along side me.
