OOC: Time to finally start this. [/ooc]

"The birds are quite noisy today," Shincotsu said to himself as he came upon a village gate. The gate of Échappatoire Village. Shincotsu entered the village with his head down staring at the various types of stones on the ground. Suddenly, Shincotsu heard a shreik of terror coming from an allyway. Shincotsu rushed to see what was happening. A young girl was alone in the ally, and she stared at him with a strangely demonic look and with a flash of light she vanished.
Shincotsu took a step out of the allyway and looked around for authorities. But, He could see none. Deciding not to let it bother him, he walked into the nearest tavern, which just happens to be the inn. He sat down at the bar and ordered some water.
Just as he got his water, authorities barged in shouting, "UNDEAD ARE ATTACKING, UNDEAD ARE ATTACKING!" Rushing to his feet, he grabbed his belongings and headed to the gate. When he saw the creatures he started to open his book.

Jep'ray was heading to a village of Échappatoire as his own village elders had told him. It had been a long hard journey to get here in the time that they had allowed him. He knew that something was following him since he had left the highlands and entered this old forrest, but it had only made the mistake of trying to attack him once. The followers of the dark dread paid dearly for that mistake. He had left their corpse for the forest to overtake. He had been seeing signs of human life start creeping back as he got closer and closer to the village. a few farm steads, freshly tilled fields and some walls to hold in live stock. He was enjoying this day when a dull clanking filled the air, a village alarm, that was unmistakeable.
He started to run through the under brush toward the noise, as he cleared the tree line he could see what had caused the alarm. a horde of undead had come out of the shadows around the town and had fallen upon its main gate. Losing no time he started to sprint the distance to the dark enemy, pulling his bow and notching an arrow he chanted under his breath. The tattoos on his arm started to glow, as the energy passed onto the arrow, till it was almost on fire with spirt energy, he left the gray goose fly (OOC:its a term for an arrow) The arrow flew straight and true, arcing up and then back down into the middle of a group of undead. It sunk almost to the grey feathers into the rotting flesh of his target, suddenly a well of energy burst from its wound, ripping the animated corpse apart. Without missing a step another arrow was notched...

Shincotsu started to flip throught the pages of his book, muttering some unintelligible words. As he did shadows from the buildings and walls started to move and form a large hand. An extremely large arm burst out of the ground. Moving his right arm to control it, it went to grab one of the creatures. When it had it within its grasp some of the town militia finally made it onto the scene. The undead that it had a hold of fell to its knees with its body getting thinner and thinner as it shrivled. The undead was eventually just a husk and the body was thrown aside by it and went to grab another as the militia started to charge.

by now Jep had let loose more than a few arrows, his quiver getting lighter with each draw. he was closing with the enemy, as a huge hand came out near the gate and started to push back the attackers. The group towards the rear of the attacking mob started to take intrest in Jep as he let loose another arrow and another undead burst apart.
now too close for bow and arrow, he drew the ancient sword that the elders had bestowed upon him, feeling its power, as he gripped the blade, it was eager for battle. Battle, today it would get. Screaming his war cry, Jep took a running charge at the mod of undead, the sword felt light as air, as it cleaved through the bunch, almost at its own will...

Shincotsu's spell was starting to wear out. He could tell because the arm was decreasing in size. So in one final attack he made it lunge straight ahead. But, all the undead in the center moved to the side to evade the attack and the arm was heading straight for a young man. "Nnh!" Shocked, Shincotsu tried desperately to stop it from hitting the man. "Watch out!!" Shincotsu cried as he was stopping the attack.

Jep was in the middle of the mob, slicing down the foe like he would harvist the fields with sickle in hand. The blood lust coming from the sword was over powering as more and more fell to his dance of death, suddenly the flow of the battle changed. he looked back at the town gate, as someone cried out. seeing a black hand screaming toward him he rolled to his left, his reflexes were as quick as ever, but the amount of gore that covered the ground made it slippery.
As he tried to get back up from the near miss, he slipped on some thing, a severed hand or leg, but he lost his footing, as the Undead resumed the attack. Finding himself too close to use the longsword, he went to his backup weapon, pulling his dirk and hatchet. Jep started to chant another spell, as his arm and dirk started to glow, and in a frantic move, simpliy started to slice his way toward the gate. The hatchet, honed from cutting trees, lobed off offending heads as easly as it would have chopped down a sapling. His glowing Dirk blasted away everything it touched, as its point started to enter another undeads arm, the energy peeled away what remaining flesh was left, and blew off the rest. but it was not a one way fight, as he neared the gate, the blows from the undead were taking there toll.
His advance slowed when a blow nearly broke his leg, limping now, he fought through the pain. He had to see his mission completed or he would never be able to rest with his forefathers...

Finally leaving the warlocks protection, Dark angel and Darken Torchwood set out towards Echappatoire village. The warlock said "that is where your destiny leads you two". Darken Torchwood and I stuck to the edge of the forbidden forest till it ended and started to walk along a dusty road. "The sky seems so blue today" talking to nobody but herself. it took many days and many nights to get to Echappatoire village, but the finally made it, only to see a war of undead and a single man fighting his way through...

Darken Torchwood, moving slightly, but quickly around Dark Angel from behind her to her front. “What shall ye have me do, me lady?” He asked already knowing the answer, but subject to her will, and bound by his law as a slave, he must ask before any task that may endanger his mistress.

In preparation, he slid out his two Short-Sword-Daggers, pulling them straight through his leather side sack using there ability to be able to move through physical objects at his will. They shined like glass with a glare like that of a green emerald, though as smooth. He also made sure his hood was fully covering his head and face.

Waving his S-S-Daggers to his side, a blue flame surrounds each S-S-Dagger, crackling like the sound of a bonfire they stay, as he waits for the order.

Without hesitating, Shincotsu mutters some unintelligible words and a white ball appears at his side. The ball moves rapidly on its own and repetitively rams into random undead doing some deal of damage. Shicotsu then proceeds to take out his sword and charge straight into battle with the undead, slicing halfway through one undead's arm.

his strenght was failing him as the weight of the mob pushed on him, for every one he dispatched, 2 more seemed to rise out of the earth. Blocking his forward motion. He kept on cutting his way through the wave of reanimated corpses, toward his goal.

The enourmous mob of undead was finally seeming to grow smaller than what it once was as shincotsu finally sliced cleanly through one's leg. The little white ball was still ramming into some however it was diminishing. Just above one of the undead, Shincotsu caught sight of the man who he had almost hit. He seemed to be tiring. So was Shincotsu. He called out, "Hurry! I'll help you cut a path to the gate!"
The militia at this point was fighting their hearts out to save the village. Some of the undead were able to slay about 10 of them. However, despite that, the militia kept on fighting unitl they or their enemy died.
