I wandered aimlessly through the corridors
I had finally had a chance to possibly make a friend here and I had completely blown it
the image of the girl bathed in fire stuck in my head, but more so was the image of her hurt expression before she ran from me...
I sat by a statue in the main hall. What I thought would usually be a noisy place was as silent as the grave. I looked around and rested my chin on my knees, tears falling quietly down my cheeks. "I'm a monster..." kept racing through my mind.
Catrine was still sitting in her bed and had start to write in her song-book.
"Suddenly she ran away, where are she now, please say." She sang.
She smiled.
"Finaly maybe i can write a good song." She said to herself.
I walked into the main hall still cursing myself over my reaction to the girl with the fire when I caught sight of her sitting by the statue, she looked dejected and I felt terrible.
I hesitated then walked slowly over to her.
''h-hey..." I looked everywhere but at her
I looked up and saw the guy from before. "H-hey..." I said softly looking down to the ground. I was afraid he'd come to use it against me but he looked like he was really beating himself up for it...
"look..." I sat down next to her staring at my feet "about earlier, I just want to apologise... I, I was wrong...." I forced my self to look at her, she was actually quite pretty I thought... "I'm sorry"
I shook my head softly. "It's ok. Seeing a girl on fire isnt something you see everyday. I understand it shocked you..." I looked at him and smiled a bit.
I smiled back slightly, harldy able to believe this girl was just going to forgive me
"it must be difficult for you..." I looked away
