Long ago there foretold a prophecy of the endeavors passed the people of old. In the looms between both light and dark their existed Chaos. Though he took the form of seven objects of power known as the Chaos Emeralds. It was said that anyone who possessed even one was granted the power dubbed Chaos Control. With this the user was granted the power to teleport to any spot at their hearts desire. As the seven were protected by a system of guardians on the floating island named Angel Island, a family of Echinda's have shrined the one source with enough power to neutralized the split seven and its at this alter they have remained.

Yet not everything remains at peace, a power hungry being known as Zynx. He was a hedgehog in top form serving the ancients as a pupil. Through his teachings he became more aware of the power that the chaos emeralds held. When he grew strong enough, he decieved the ancients of Angel Island and took the power of the Chaos Emeralds. As he rose in power his body began to change as he was planning to absorb the power of the Chaos emerlds. The elders gathered around the Master Emerald and began to chant to stop the chaos emeralds. When they succeeded, the chaos emeralds divided and worked against him. They radiated and unlocked a spell known only by the ancients and they sent Zynx far into the future.

Today...

With the antics of Eggman constantly being a factor, Sonic and a series of others work together to stop him. The new ally to join the ranks was none other than Shadow the Hedgehog, the soul survivor of the incident that happened 50 years ago at the Space Coloney Ark. He was said to be the ultimate life form, but was truely the end result of the the previous experiment. Zynx appeared in this time much around the workings of Proffessor Gerald. After Shadow's success, he came across him and froze him for further experiments. His project went unfinished as he soon taken in to custody by authorities when they discovered his work. Zynx lay there waiting, and resting for his revenge until Dr Eggman unleashed him into the world. His goal was to gather the chaos emeralds for a greater purpose even more wide scale than Shadow's.

Name:Rix Maverick (The Silver Hero)

Personality: Rix is a very laid back individual he likes to spend his time training and watching tv however after the events of the last Dark era it has caused him to change into a more powerful being
Alignment: Good

Skills: Spin dash, Blue flame dash, Sword of reckoning, amoung other hedgehog abilites

Bio:Rix Maverick has been dubbed the Silver Hero due to the fact that in his area he saved the princess from a unstopable demon. this occoured when he was fairly young around the age of 16. He has met sonic the hedgehog on numerous ocasions during his past times of traveling the world alone. he values sonic as a hero and longs to be like him. he feels that sonic is his icon.

Years ago in a ancient society there were a group of hedgehogs that practiced dark magic. they were called the Mavericks mainly because they did what no one else would...practiced forbidden arts. when Rix was born his body was infused with dark powers which now changed his skin tone to a silver and blue, he was a red hedgehog when he was born. he has somewhat perfected his powers alone and is held with the art of blue flames. He is now located in the main city sitting in a chair watching television as he always does.

Age: 23
Appearance: He is a man that could be seen easily in a crowd of a hundred, but then again that's just how Zynx likes it. He stands tall with his back straight, otherwise his shadowy cape would get caught in the dirt. His face was scared from the sudden time-space jump into the future; it really took a toll on his body despite how easy it may sound to others. He has red hair with black and silver outlinings. For kicks more then anything, a huge bastard sword completes his fiendish attire or a typical warlord.
Personality: Zynx, being the typical power-craving lunatic of evil, truly has attributes that sets him apart from the others and thus giving him a greater chance at winning. His true power come from his ability to be patient and wait for his plans to be ready for harvesting. He's great at emphathy and often lures, even tricks, victims with mind attacks (by that i mean he uses blackmail, family, torture, and worst of all solitary confinement. it's been said that nothing is more scary them our own minds if left alone.)
Alignment: ummm... evil. Duh!
Skills: aside from his knowledge of the mind and its visces, Zynx really only has a slight amount of Martial Arts training and that only includes sundueing to place victims into torture. He is very muscular and could win in a straight out muscle-match.
Bio: Since his time in the time-warp Zynx has had a lot of time to think, to recalculate all his past failures, which any curious one could find if they really want to know the stories of old. He is looking forward, it is like a new start for the evil lord. His time in the "jump" really drained him physically, so much that it brought the once all powerful being to a near-death state.

First when he got out, he secured his lifestyle again by hiding out in mountainous terrains eating any kind of meager meal that supplied meat. Soon he got his strength back, his stamina soon followed. Now, nearly a month free from the jump, he is ready to bring his plans to reality.

Personality: Sonic is quick to make friends and even quicker to make enemies. When danger strikes,
and Sonic is near, he will do all in his power to stop it.

Alignment: Good

Skills: Spin dash, Cyclone spin, The ability to call on the Emeralds powers to transform him into Super Sonic, and other hedgehog related skills.

Bio: Sonic was born on Angel Island, and been the hated enemy of Dr. Eggman for most of his life.
after countless times of stopping Dr. Eggman's evil polts, Sonic has friends to help him all the way.
His best friends are the two tailed fox Miles 'Tails', and Knuckles the Echidna.
Sonic has also been able to call on the power of the emeralds, in times of need.
