okay Jinchu is a VERY long poem i have been working on for years. it always changes and grows, adapts. it'll be posted in segments like these below for easier reading. about one a day i'll post one.

Jinchu 1:1

Halfway through this journey we all partake
Of the year when great silver dragons streaked across the sky
And from that great billows of rising smoke engulfed the air
With crimson sulfur crying out, piercing with much weeping
That I had become aware of another presence was approaching.

He was a deceiver, cloaked as an innocent when really covering a shadow
A great demon was abiding within with huge black wings of fire
A cynical laughter and a mind like a criminal’s.
Thus did I meet my maker
And I believed all its lies and fell into the trap

Jinchu 2:2

The trap of believing him to be some sort of angel
With majestic wings of gold and white light, destroyed.
The innocent was just a shell as the beast inside grew
Slowly the innocent changed from timid to demonic
Yet the passage of time would be longer to change than for an infant’s shower to rise up.

The innocent and I were inseparable, creating a bond of pure trust
The lies of the world we would suck in resembling leeches at most times
Darkness and light, Good and evil was conceived to be interchangeable
The lies we believed killed us with a morbid stream of bugs
Internally the disease struck hard and fast and left us dumb with confusion
