Black Glass

A hundred words have passed his lips
A thousand voices he can recollect
A million people he has known
But never seen.

Sometimes his life is confusing
Like solving a puzzle of solid white
The clouds he walks on
Are falling down.

There’s lightning diving down to earth
The calm has been blown away
The rain is beginning to fall
Winds are changing.

The world is collapsing in the chaos of it’s own
And the man can finally see,
See the pandemonium through blindness
See the universe through black glass.

Darkness, hope, confusion, deception. It's kinda sad for him to finally see and well...see the word at its end.



Nice storytelling, or Ballad as it's called or something. I wonder if we could tell a whole story through poetry...would take a while, that's for sure. *gets an idea*, I'm off!!!

That was very well written. No complaints really. Except the repetitivness used in the beginning of each line. If you took out the "A" and "The". Its sentence will still make sense. And will still flow very well.

I believe that it's called a sonnet. To tell a whole story through a poem. Take Sir Gawain and the Green Knight for example.
