Spontaneous indeed and free certanly, but your not the only one who does that, though repeating words can bother a few, I think that if not too much exaggerated, it increases the feeling that you want to express if you put it just right. I'm glad someone else is placing his poems in only one thread or else this place would end up quite chaotic.

My thread doesn't seem to be updated, but that's because I don't do one post for one poem, I edit them in until I can't put anymore in it, but I guess it attracts less people...though it would take forever to place them individually one per post....I wrote too many...xD

Interesting take in the first two using elements as the fuel to you poems! And the definition of d@mmit is interesting in it's own way! Good job and I have to agree with Soldat of Life that being redundant on some words will bother a few, but still good job on these poems! AO is where masterpieces are formed!

^_^;; I know I'm not the only one with this style... I was just signing the idea that this is how I like to write.

^.^ As for repitition, I know it could and would annoy or bother or discomfort many people... however, that's a method I've used since I first started writing poems... whenever I use repitition, it's not for others to imagine... it's something I wish to say again and again for myself, or else my emotions/feelings will have a feeling of 'incomplete'...

^_^ That's just how I like to write... if I didn't, I'd get rather bored of writing poems. I will write poems every once in a while that people (or myself) don't expect me to write, but that's only if I'm comfortable doing so.

    So!

    Poem #5: The Number 5

    This is poem number 5...
    It is poem number 5.
    I know, I counted.
And I'm sure you have as well...

5 is different from other numbers.
    Because...
    well...
No other number is like other numbers.
But for me, it is different in a different way.

    5 is my favorite number.
It has always been that way.
    And I've always known it.

    ...

...that is, if 'always' meant 'since Kinder'.
And if 'since Kinder' also included 'my favorite number is 3'.
3 and 5 are my favorite numbers.
But this is poem number 5.
So this is about number 5.

5 and 3 are very unusual for me.
For in my ears, they ring of 'bright' things...
    Justice...
    Light...
    Order...
    And all other such...

I'm not exactly any of those.
...well, at least when it doesn't matter.

But I don't really care, 3 and 5 are my favorite numbers.
But I really should go back to just talking about 5.

    5 comes after 4 and 3 and 2 and 1.
It is to say that it is the 5th one...
    After 4 others...

It seems like a leading number
one that leads its men home
    or doomed to be overthrown...
    But doom those who overthrow.

I am not the number 5.
But the number 5 is me.
Not for the reasons of above.
But because I keep 5's ideas in my heart.
Just as I keep 3's in my head.

I don't show that I follow the idea of 5.
But I certainly do honor it.
And I believe everyone should do the same.
    As well with 3.

But 5 is my favorite number, more or less.
Because it is the number 5.

^_^ i like repition! this is a wonderful poem Darling!

it has spunk! pep! and all sorts of other bubbly adjectives!

^__^ i think if it had more rhyming, it'd be even peppier! >_> but i'm not sure if you were going for that... ANYWAY!

    ^o^ great job!

._. But I don't like to rhyme... most times I do, it just sounds silly...
=_= And the number 5 is NOT silly...

But I will give you something silly, then!

Poem #6: Hopping Over the Wall

Once O Once 'ere was a Cat
A Cat a cat 'at was a Kitten
The Kitten the kitten Once Saw a wall

    A WALL a WALL
    Really Big and TALL

The Kitten looked up the Wall So Bright
With question, and love, and even Fright!

'What an odd road' the Ki'en did think
'It goes right up where no one can go!'
'And once have walked up you'd fall in a wink'
This Ki'en Cat has nev' seen one Befo!

This Ki'en cat has always once lived in a prairie
With no cliff walls - only gnomes and fairies

Of course with delight this kitten tried to walk!
But again and again i'id al'ays fall down!
'Who is this road really trying to mock?'
'like the ocean too wide- we always drown!'

But in one leap and in one hop did the cat get across!
And would be friends with the eternal pit, forever a loss...

    Moral:
Curiosity Does Not Kill the Cat
It is the Action that Proceeds.
