The prospect of a Bleach film has got me excited... I want to learn more of the Bankai, though... My viewing of the show is pretty patchy, and I don't know the origin of the Bankai's or their true power... All I ask is that they don't go all DBZ on us and has differing levels of Bankai power...
But hey, any film about Bleach is bound to be awesome...

Hitsugaya's Bankai doesn't seem all that great to me. Its like a big ice dragon. What I look forward to is seeing is if Ichigo shows the next level of his Bankai. I know he can do alot more than what he has.
i doubt they will show the next level of bankai on the movie... unless it comes way into the series and the 1st movie probably wont be as far along as the series.

it's already out and done with. WWWOO!!! Now we just sit back and enjoy the movie. and wait for jan 10th to come coz that's when the new arc begins!

Does anyone have an idea when the movie will come out on DVD in Japan
I believe it hasn't yet been announced! One can expect it too be released before April of the coming new year, or maybe even later, I suppose. One can compare the theatrical and DVD release dates of the Naruto movies to get an idea of when it might be released.
I will remember to update, once I hear of any news.
