well it depends how you get it bleached and what color your hair was originally. if his hair was like a dark red or a type of brown with orange undertone then if he bleached it. it could turn orange (my mom's a professional cosmotologist and i help her out a lot) so it could his hair could technically be bleached but i don't think that's why they named the series bleach i mean throughtout the whole series ichigo keeps complaining about his "natural" hair color.
That is a good question.
It could be because everyone thinks Ichigo bleaches his hair.
It could be the blank, white expressions of the Hollows.
I think it also has something to do with the idea of spotlessness, of purity and innocence. I mean, the Hollows are the exact opposite of that, and Ichigo and his gang are fighting the Hollows; therefore, you could say that they are fighting for purity . . .
Or maybe that's just me being an English major and reading too deeply into things again.
Grumble Grumble Grumble
I've seen on other forums the claim that the original Manga-ka for this series is a big Nirvana band fan, and named the series 'Bleach' as a homage to this bands first album...
I believe it has somthing to do with his hair color as well, because on multiple accounts in the story other students at his school mention how his hair looked bleached and he commented on how he doesnt want to change his hair color because it makes him stand out.
Yes. I agree that the title has something got to do with Ichigo's hair color.
It's like a trademark.
Do you ever notice that there's a lot of orange color in the background of opening and ending clips?
... Then again... The concept of "cleaners".. it does make sense... <T_T>
... Heck. The series is still cool as ever!
bleach is what he did to his hair wich is strabary blond and that is ichigo
