okay first of all i hate those filler mods souls! they shouldnt be in this arc at all! I mean this is manga related anime thus, no filler crap allowed. I mean it wiuld have been good if Grand Fisher just just crushed them there and then. Rid us of filler remains. But still seeing the fathers of the respective characters was cool.

Yes you should have noticed it before even if you don't read the manga because you see Isshin in shinigami uniform in the ending credits.
