Thread: Why Do They Use Spanish In Bleach?

well i live in the united states and even thought and not mexican(neither english is my first language) here is a theory that happened to come to my mind.
In mexican culture, there is a holyday specially for the dead called "El dia de los muertos" that is translated to the day of the dead. What they do is that they have this celebrations to remember the dead in a really odd way, the wear mask shaped like human skeletons and they honor the death god itself. So for me it is only logical that kubo set the whole idea of bleach mixing how japanese see the death gods(shinigamis) and mexican see the death god(la muerte) and he came up with the idea of the hollows cause of the mask because they really look alike


Of course thats only my theory. And they really sounds bad ass when they say their name "yo soy..." or when chad says "brazo derecho de gigante"
