I saw all the Freddy and Jason movies before I was 7, it all depends on what the parents deem is fit for their chideran. Who are we to say how they should raise their kids, We can have our opinions yes, but when it comes down to it, we have no say in the matter.

I think the movie will have a PG-13 movie.

Perhaps with horror movies it is one thing, but porn is an entirely different matter, it is Highly inappropriate and very much illegal for a child to see porn. I can agree to differ on the horror movies, but please, you cannot tell me it is alright for a child to watch porn?

I hate going to what I think is an adult movie and hearing stupid little kids crying and talking and making kid noises. "I have to go to the bathroom", "Whats going on" "I dont get it". Little kids should go to little kids movies. If parents want to let their kids watch adult movies they should wait until it comes out on dvd. There is no reason to pay 8 bucks for an 8 year old to see saw 2. ( as you can probably tell, I am not much of a kids person. Probably wont have any). My parents let me watch scary movies way too young and now I hate scary movies.

First off, no child should watch porn. Ever. I think that would do more damage to a kid than watching a movie with violence. I think that if both the child and parents have talked it over and they both agree that seeing it would be ok, then they should go. I think the parents would have a somewhat better understand of what frightens their kids at 5 or 6 than the kids do. I think a lot of times kids hear about movies from their friends and so they want to see it no matter what it's rated. Overall, the parents have to be comfotrable that their child will be ok, and the child has to be comfortable about it too.

I think they're gonna play it smart with this one. Many of the G1 fans now have young kids that they probably want to take to the movie. It would be smart to have it PG13 because in that respect it still would show the Transformers battling without it being an M or R rated movie. If you look up the classification for a PG13 movie is says that nudity and rough or persistent violence is absent, although there may be drug use and may contain more harsh adult words. Maybe it was given the rating due to language?

    Re: Age for watching movie?

No child should be watching pornography at a young age and parents that allow that have some major mental issues. As far as horror flicks go as long as the kid wants to watch it and isn't going to be negatively affected by it then there should be no problem.

Guys we should move this discussion to another thread, me thinks that the Transformer's forum isn't made to handle a Disscusion on what people should/shouldn't watch.
