Pointless Transformers

There were a few transformers that served no purpose whatsoever. IMO, Bumblebee had to be by far the worst. He turned into a yellow, eighties-style Volkswagen bug. He was the one Autobot that had to hang out with the human kid, because the other Transformers wouldn’t be his friend. He would get taken hostage in every single episode because he was stupid.

Wheelie was a worthless addition. Most Transformers had 2-3 giant guns that could turn a small city to dust in minutes. He had a slingshot that shot glowing rocks. Hello, what kind of good is that going to do?

Well the point for having weak Transformers like that were to show that they had a society much like ours. Not everyone can be strong and not everyone can have a purpose. They were a race of robots similar to ours.

I say Padlock was worthless, he was given one job and still managed to screw it up. As a result, Shockwave did away with him and he was one of the only ones that was not rebuilt.

How about Rodimus Prime? A guy that spends every episode from getting the matrix whining about how he cannot live up to Optimus. Sorry, but no-one could live up to Optimus, its why they brought him back...
