does naruto ever actually pass the chuunin exams?

cause i've been watching the anime, up to the most recent shippudden, and i just don't know if naruto is going to go through the whole anime, as a chunin, is he?

From what i've seen so far.. he is still a genin.. he have'nt passed his Chuunin examination yet... and he will be taking the exam in the shippuuden i think ^^ someone reccommended him to.. i think it was Kakashi... I can't remember

Right now he is still a Genin in the manga, but he is still one of the better Konoha Ninja. Chuunin exam ended about the time he returned from bringing Gaara back to life and if he is planning on entering the next one he'd have to wait about half a year, though I'm sure the manga would end by then and he'd be the new Hokage.

Jiraiya trained Naruto for two years, as a result Naruto missed the Chuunin exams. Although, despite him still being a Genin he is as strong as the others that passed the Chuunin level.

Mhm.. i agree on that strong like others if compared with his power without the Jinchuuriki or Kyuubi... ^^ but not on the Hokage part... maybe he will become the Hokage... but i doubt it's anytime soon...

maybe another season of naruto in the future...

well if memory serves the original chuunin exams were cut short due to the sound and sand villages being a**holes.

but ah well. for right now, naruto has not passed. but it was nice to see him kick the crap out of Neji ^-^

i know that in the shippudden episodes he hasn't passed or even retaken the chunnin exams and when he got back from his 2 year training the chunin exams were just over, but i remember watching a episode where they were making fun of him for not passing them yet, and i was wondering whether ya'll would think that maybe they would just keep him a chunin until the (almost) very end of the series.

With him defeating Neji, he should have passed.. LOL.

I am kidding. Naruto is the worst shinobi throughout the whole leaf village, no matter who trains him. Jiraiya can spend a life time with him and Naruto will only have deus ex mechina or writer's favoritism to save him.

Just like how Gaara was suppose to be killed when his bijuu was extracted from him but somehow he lives through it because of Chiyo's sudden jutsu.
