I was just wondering what everybody thinks of Itachi Uchiha.

Doesn't Itachi mean ferret in Japanese? I looked up his name on Google for some pics, and a lot of ferret pics came up. ~_~

But he's very hot. I always cheer for the bad guys, and I really don't know why. I like the good guys, too, so I'm always confused when they fight. I don't stay consistent in cheering for one person, and it tends to annoy my buddies.

Itachi is a weasel. Itachi wears a dress and has a manicure. Other than that, he's alright.

lol i think he's like evil like Saitou Hajime wen we first saw Saitou in Samurai X. The way he beat down sasuke i tot ssshhhiiiitttt naruto aint got a chance against the guy. I want to see the rest of this group Seven Swordsmen. They all look jus really evil, twisted or sadistic considering the ppl who left the group n fought Naruto n etc.

That's exactly why he loses a lot of cool points in my book. I guess that all the emo/goth kids of today like him because of that.
His skills and 'hate philosophy' are cool for a villain though.

And since you posted this in the spoilers section; do you think Sasuke will succeed in killing him?

i think he will come really close but he gets killed
and while itachi is hurt naruto will finish him off with the 9-tails chakra

These have probably been seen already, but since this thread is about Itachi, I guess it's appropriate, no?

And to answer your question... Hmm...
For all we know, the Akatsuki might make Itachi a Jinchuriki and that would double or even triple his power. And there is the factor that the Mangekyou is going to eventually make Itachi blind. Sasuke's current state is pretty strong. Strong enough to even see the Kyuubi. He seems a bit overpowered and god-moded. He finally has what he's been missing all this time: hate, so maybe Sasuke has a chance of defeating Itachi.

@ innerhell - lol!

itachi means weasel in japanese, but i don't think he's a weasel at all. he has great strength and is an awesome character, and although he isn't a very honourable character, he's a pretty awesome.

as for whether or not i think sasuke will be able to surpass itachi.. well, we'll just have to wait. i think it'll be a pretty long wait for us to find out, but i'm willing to wait for an answer.

itachi has lines on his face which freaks me out a bit but he looks really cool in his akatsuki cloak but when he takes it off he looks alot like sasuke i like his pony tail!^_^

Itachi is pretty cool at least cooler than his brother,hes not my favorite akatsuki though.
