It's about time that the author does somthing useful and diverts the plot from rescuing Sasuke [which is pretty much the whole manga is about].

I understand, and I did notice all of that and that's the reason I usually get annoyed when I see the similarities.
But still, since he is a ninja, the author should have enough common sense to make him wear black. Also, he looks cooler in black. :)
