During chapters 343-344 where sasuke an Ochi are going head to head. Where is Kabuto? I know he went to get some medical stuff. But still can't a great ninja who was said to be Kakashi's equal hear a fight or know a fight was at least close?

Kabuto may show up when the fight between Orochimaru and Sasuke draws to a climax.When that happens,there may be a new twist in events.If that is so,it will be great.
Kabuto doesn't give a coin about Orochimaru up to this point, so maybe he is just waiting for Sasuke to kill Orochimaru and then he will become Sasuke's slave or partner either one.
he prolly shos up in 345... you have to realize although it een like a week of fighting for us... its been lik 5 mins for them not even kabuto woulda realized it

yea. well since 345 has come, and kabuto did show up. But it mad me mad because he didnt come in time to do anything but ask a question
