It's a bit of a lame development. The "one killer move that makes the difference" has been used a little too much in Naruto lately.

Naruto has been training for an pretty long time to develop that "one killer move that could defeat anyone".
But to be honest that's not my only gripe with the newer Naruto chapters.
What really annoys me is the 'element' gimmick the writer suddenly threw in. If all this "this element is stronger than that one but weaker than another one" is supposed to be believable than it should have been introduced much sooner.
It could have had a major impact on earlier fights. It feels very tacked on.
I think that it is a cool move he yea the move is in the developmental stages but who knows he might have paired it off with different types of techniques after all Akuma and kakashi both said that the wind element can be formed into many things and best used in close range combat naruto took a close range element and turned it into a long range weapon now that is some skill
The "Rasenshuriken" and the incomplete Fuuton Rasengan are one and the same. Let me remind you that the entire purpose of Naruto's training was to give the incomplete Rasengan itself element and form. The incomplete Rasengan in the beginning was form chakra materialized. What it lacked was element and what Yondaime could never achieve was fusing form chakra and elemental chakra together. This is what Naruto is trying to do and is getting closer in completing. By fusing his wind element with the Rasengan, the Rasengan takes on a whole new form rather than its usual spherical form. The "Rasenshuriken" isn't random. It is the fruit of all of Naruto's training.
Fuuton Rasengan Shuriken = "Rasenshuriken".
Gotta agree with you, Hassun. All of a sudden, Naruto has become Pokemon. Good times.
I love my girlfriend.
