Was the way the third hokage died really worth dieing for? sure he took orochimaru's jutsu but to end like that not even knowing if the village would survive.


if you ask me it wasn't a good plan, maybe he was unprepared and surprised on the attack but he shouldn't have been all the signs and even orochimarus warning, his fighting was poor and should have been better. sure he was old but he should have had a bit stronger jutsu.

well it depends on how u look at it because his main goal was to protect the ppl of his village and in a way he did that, fighting orochimaru just happened to fall in as a way to do that and since he was able to seal orochimarus arms causing him so have to leave he still did what he set out to do because even though he lost his life he still saved his village

What are you talking about Sakura??? HAve you even WATCHED the episodes after that??? The Third Hokage took Orochimaru's arms away, thus diableing Orochimaru to use HIS jutsus. He uses Kabuto now, but if something happened to Kabuto, Orochimaru would be out of luck. But, anyways, the Third Hokage sacrificed his life for all of Konoha people! It's gotta mean SOMETHING.....


what??! The justsu the Third Hokage used (as Hassun said) the most powerful justsu on Naruto! Even more powerful then Rasengan! Sure, the 3rd was old, but he did put up a good fight and had PLENTY of strong justsu's, not just the reaper one, thank you very much.

no not the death jutsu that was like his only goes d move but being a hokage i thought he would have a bit more umf in his death instead he just kinda goes quietly

I agree with Akura. The third was a great shinobi with a lot of skills. He could use more element jutsu's and was a genius to begin with. He didn't die for nothing, since he took away Orochimaru's arms. He disabled his jutsu's for a pretty long time. Long enough anyway, to cancel Orochimaru's plan of destroying Konoha.

It also took away his plans to move into Sasuke's body.
He had to change into the other body (his strongest prisonor) before Sasuke's because of the intense pain or whatever.
