In Kakashi's Gaiden (Manga) they tell you the story of how Hatake Kakashi got his Sharingan. Kakashi got his Sharingan from his best friend and comrade (the team with yondaime as their sensei) from Uchiha Obito.
In this Manga it is told that Kakashi got an eye as a gift from Obito (because he was about to die and he gave him his eye, he got crushed by a rock) for his promotion to Jounin class. Kakashi couldn't save him from the falling rocks and left him there...while Obito was dying.
There is a Akatsuki member with a orange mask, on the right side of this mask is a hole. It seems that his name is "Tobi" This peron has an Sharingan... but we anime watchers don't know who that is.
Some say it's Uchiha Obito, others say it's Uchiha Madara. This mysterious Sharingan Akatsuki member... who is that?
I really don't know. I think Obito is too good to be an Akatsuki member.. But it seems that this person also have an armor. Some say he wears the armor because his body we demolished by the rocks, so it could be him.. also because the Akatsuki member is named "Tobi"...but I'm not sure.

Oh really? I thought I saw in your sig Madara has long hair XD. Anyway, you think the manga writer did this on purpose? So that everyone thinks it is Obito? I saw some images over the internet with Obito behind that mask, guess that's just a way to make people think it's him. Also the name, the hole in the mask, the armor everything leads to "maybe it's Uchiha Obito".Originally Posted by zyta

it is proven that madara is alive but it doesn't ever mention that that guy above is madara.
and if you think about it.
it is most likely obito in that pic.
since his entire right side was "crushed" kakashi received obito's left eye and the mask only shows the right.
