i think that naruto has because as u can see in the fight against kakashi, he mastered the use of the kage bunshin no jutsu, and now he accually plans what to do before he goes and do it.

Yes i agree. But i still would have to say that sakura has grown the most. Coming from nothing in the first series, to ninja with massive power and great medical skills. She can really put an impact in the show now

as much as i hate to say it... sasuke... in the last chapter he killed a page full of shinobi, without getting a sctrach, he can go into naruto's mind and surpress the kyubi by will and is in the process of killing orochimaru... sasuke has for sure

In terms of strength,Sasuke because we see what he can do against Orichimaru in the current chapter,in terms of combat skills,Naruto,because he is able to demonstrate skillful tactics against Kakuzu and in terms of maturity,Sakura.

And he's on just about equal strength with Itachi as well.
