ok....here's my crazy wild imagination...the "king" is not at his throne right now (not saying that it's true cause we really don't know)..he's hiding in the real world....Isshin kurosaki is the king and will defeat Aizen.

Well hes just guessing really hes saying thats his thoughts so nothing is spoiled but you might be right good thoughts.

Well i dont think that would be cool to put the king in a body that could get eaten by a Hollow so i dont think they would do that because that would be dangerest for the king.

The following would make more sense than that crack theory.

Isshin is the spoiled brat of a son of the King. Good for comedic effect.
Isshin is just a Royal Guard. This would make more sense due to Isshin's unique uniform.
There is no King. Metaphorically.
Aizen is actually the lost son of the King.

Aizen's ambition even from the start of his career as Shinigami seems to be simply to climb to the top, in a completely literal sense.
