o.o
Yeah.

I mean, my second favourite character Ulquiorra went and died, and they made it all slow and dramatic and my friend walked in when I was tearing up at it. I mean, Orihime just stood there and watched, WHY didn't she use Santen Keshun? WHY? ;-;
And then, of course, there was my favourite character.

Ichimaru Gin. Why, why, why, did he go and die? I thought Aizen was going to be killed, but no. Instead he turned into a ruddy butterfly and killed Gin. WHY? *slams head*
And then,

Zangetsu faded away due to the Final Getsuga Tenshou.
Why is everything so tear creating on bleach when it comes to dying? :(
I'm also waiting for episode 311 to come out on Tuesday, yay! 8D
Re: Is it bad that I teared up to Bleach?
I just started watching Bleach >hangs head in shame< And I love it! But, yes, I agree with you that the character's deaths are extremely emotional events (hopefully they were intended in that way, otherwise I will die a little inside). I thought it was horrible when I first watched Ichigo's mom die. It was horrible.
Re: Is it bad that I teared up to Bleach?
Yeah it's pretty bad you did. :|
My favourite character (and pretty much my only reason for following Bleach) was Gin as well. I can't believe how bad the creator handled the end of the Arrancar saga. It's like he got bored with it and just sought a way to end it as soon as possible.
Gin's story was the worst of all. Unless he's planning on bringing him back of course. Because it ended on a bit of an ambiguous note.
Seriously, Ichimaru has had a singular goal for 100+ years now and this is how it ends? An almost successful attempt on Aizen's life, then getting destroyed without even coming close to doing what he set out to do. Talk about a miserable failure.
It's even worse than Ichigo's bullshit power upgrade, at least that's a common shōnen thing to do.
As for Zangetsu, don't fret they're already in the process of bringing him back in the manga.
Re: Is it bad that I teared up to Bleach?
Way to be blunt about it. ;-;
Gin had no half-decent back story to him whatsoever, and I think his part was rushed completely. He was also given a pathetic Bankai (Which had no imagination or effort put into.) and his intention was ruined. Ruined completely.
As for Ulquiorra, they killed off the only character with common sense when it came to battle.
I don't read the Manga anymore, but I found out that Gin was going to die before hand when my friend told me, forgetting that I had stopped reading the Manga to it.
Seriously, the next enemies plot had better be freaking good to make up for it.
Re: Is it bad that I teared up to Bleach?
i don't think its bad to tear up at bleach or any other anime. the way i see it if ur favorite character dies ur intitled to a little tear up. i create on the old narutos when i through naruto was going to die on that last episode before naruto shippuden and when haku died he's my fav character.
