Byakuya: The reason

may contain spoilers

probably many of u know this already, the reason byakuya why he adopted rukia.

but for thoses who dont,here i go i warned u:byakuya was married to rukia's older real sister, by doing this he broke the rules by accepting her into the noble kuchiki family.
in her dying breath she asked to find and protect rukia and do not tell her of her real family.
a year later rukia was entering the shinigami academy, he respected his late wife's wish but,broke the rules of his family once again.
he later swore never to break the rules of his family again.

and u see where this is going

hmm dude...He swore not to break any rules in the shinigami world, not the family rules.
Thats why he had to let Rukia be punished.

He only made that "I'll never break the rules again" decision AFTER he married Hisana if I recall correctly. Maybe even after she died.

yes i saw that in japanese on myspace and it was very unexpected that menoses took aizen and gin and the other guy

they left on their own acord.... they wanted to leave... they were not taken by force or anything...

Well as far as i know, byakuya said that being one of the 4 nobles in the soul society that he couldnt broke the rules even if it meant the death of rukia becuase he was trying to set expamples for everyone basically, that is what i got from it.

but he is her "brother" >.<... yes he is trying to set an expample but at the one point he takes the hit of Gin's blade... is that love for his family??? so in a way did he break another rule? just wondering >.<

no, saving someone wouldnt be breaking a rule, its just that the nobles were suppose to honor the soul societies orders even if it meant the death of a family member.
