Well it's a most likely vehicle for Ichigo to get to a new level of strong I guess. Otherwise he'd be useless against everyone Ulquiorra and up.
On the other hand it would be a lot better if he became a hollow and joined Aizen's side.

In other news, Ulquiorra's released form is pretty boring.

He got his chest drilled, and out of nowhere he gets this "amazing powr to destroy the enemy. Mindless rampage ftw". Which is repetative and boring.
