(GIVE THE REASON) This anime is very hard to understand. ^-^ but if u look at all the allusions that occur and then watch it again, you feel like you've reach an enlightened state. Its actually a really weird feeling... FOR example. look at the eyes of the eva. eva unit 02 has 4 eyes. eva unit 01 2 eyes. And unit 00 has 1 eyes. this adds up to 7. 7 is of course the number of the gods. But look at the mask of lilith, it has the 7 eyes.  . (also the production evas 5-13, have no eyes.)
