Speaking as someone who has watched the entire series in one Sitting, The movie still makes Very little sense. Which is most likely what Anno wanted in the first place, since End of EVA was made as a slap in the face to the fans who sent him death threats because of the way he ended the TV series (In the scene where you see the people in the Movie theater, the Japanese text is excerpts from the various threats he got)

If you actually looked at the Weta project page for the EVA movie, you would find that project has officially been moved to the back burner, as ADV Films and Weta failed in their attempt to find a producer and production studio for this project... And with ADV Films suffering from cash flow issues, (and drastically cutting back on the licensing of new anime series...) it appears that the window of oppertunity has passed...

Their are only 2 movies one is OVA and the other one is the ending one. You can actually watch all the neon genesis evengelion series and the movies on this website: <link to licensed anime removed> . When you get to this web site tipe in neon genesis evangelion episode and which one you want and some of them you can actually watch in english version but more with the japanise. You can actually watch different anime on youtube too. I watched eureka seven and evangelon form the youtube in about 5 days. The whole series is on there. When you want to see the movie after the episodes you watched you have put the "Ending of Evangelion" something like that or just put evangelion movie. I hope that helps u

yeah but there is also evangelion angelic days manga who knows maybe there will be a diferent movie because the plot is cool but screwed. and in the 3rd book i think they will have some eva action two the 2nd one came out but i don't have it i only have number one

that was one of the coolest videos ever i swear it was so kool espicailly the pikashu part,the la blue girl part,(dont ask have i know hentai titles)but still it was kool i also likes evangelion jepordy.

yes that is my room with the pics, i am hoping to get a giant poster of EVA as i love the story about the memories of Shinji and not many people that that so my bad.....i got the Platinum edition and it had background info on the series and what things mean so it opened a few things up for me
