and yeah, it is really good. It's great material for AMV's too, I've used it more then once.

Interesting thing is, I've seen fan made pics with EVA characters with characters I'd never seen before. Now that I've looked at that link, I reconised them immediately. Seems someones created a fanfic/comic strip merging the 2.

As for my choice of favorite Angel, I've got a couple in mind. I haven't seen it in a while, so forgive me if I get a few details wrong.

I love the sheer power & resilience of the Angel that actually made it into central dogma. I can't remember it's name, but it's the one the Asuka fired everything she had at it, then charged without the limbs known as arms, without scratching. It took a berserker Unit-01 to kill it. Actually, it's more of a case of turn it into dinner.

The other, which I would love to be able to team up with (work together, not trapped inside), is Badriel. Not only is it an EVA, which makes it incredibly powerful, but it's got an Angel merged with it, giving it insane acrobatic skills, lightning reflexes, the ability to infect opponents, & those extending limbs are pretty cool too.

well, it got pwned too. and i feel sorry for toji, cuz quite honestly, he should have died. i mean, broke neck, intrails ripped out, and entry plug crushed. ouch.

You have to remember that the pilots are in a Entry plug that is pretty much in the center of the Neck/chest, which has the strongest armor, Touji didn't get his injuries from the fight, he got it when Dummy-plug 01 crushed the plug.

Yeah, Bardiel did get ripped to pieces. Head crushed, torn to shreds, body parts ripped off, it did get seriously owned by the dummy plug system. However, it basically seemed to me like it was working with a lower intelligence than a human. So, team up it's powers with a humans intelligence & it might just be even nastier than a normal EVA. Plus it's got it's own S2 organ, so forget the energizers...

Hey, if you can, you might even be able to work as one with Bardiel. By that I mean actually have the 2 minds merge temporarily, rather than having Bardiel just a vegetable. Maybe even summon him when trouble comes.

so toji's sync ratio was zero? do we remember what happened to Asuka in EOE? perhaps the angel being inside cut the nerve connections. i hope so for toji's sake...

I don't think we find out in the series. All I remember at the moment is they started going through the processes, when suddenly the place just goes boom, & Bardiel walks off with Toji stuck inside. They try to eject him, but the Angel holds him in with strands of it's true form. I've actually got a model to work off here, & it's got a panel for the Entry Plug half ejected, held in by the strands, like a spider web. I guess it was using him as a hostage, following some instinct that they're less likely to attack if there's one of them in danger of getting hit. Didn't work though.

Clean up, district seven...

yeah, i saw that on the model to. at first i thought it was Berserk unit one, as all i saw as 'the classic Shinji pose" [thanks for that, aceman,

My favorite angel is the first one though i don't remember its name maybe it was Sechiel ,anyway i think it is the coolest in design and i liked the way unit eva-01(shinji's) destroyed that angel when unit-01 became insane and out of control
