ok this is a bit off the wall, but if godzilla and some generic angel got in a fight, whadda you guys think? i mean, godzilla always seems to come back somehow, but some of the angels have pretty amazing powers. i might have to go with the latter, b/c of the AT field.

well what angel i mean some can make a huge impact and kill millions godzilla he has fire but a angel would win for sure any one vs godzilla.

not really i think since Godzilla has regenerative cell if there
is just one single particle he comes back , i learned this
from godzilla 2000 he should have been killed in that movie but
he wasn't , and then there was raymond burr in that black and white
move Godzilla the oxygen killed yeah but there one cell left and it
regenerated back into Godzilla.

those angels are really powerfull but that dont have the
resilance of a monster that has evelution on his side to keep
him comming back.

iaymond burr was a news reporter and thought
using him would be a good refrence if people wanted
to look that movie up.

But there power would wipe all the cells out fine lets say the angel is the one they had to dance to beat it it would split into 2 and blow both of itselfs up and then it would regenerated back killing godzilla and it would still live so wrong some of them can come back so still any one of the angels would win.

i just seen that episode, and man that looked so cool...

anyway this idea spawend from an argument from between my bro and me. i really thing godzilla may have met his match here. and once he even fell into a volcano and somehow came back, but the angels (all that i have seen, up to episode 11) all had ATfeilds. that should protect them long enough to tire him out, right? how about the one that shinji had to use a sniper rifle to take out b/c it had that powerful beam?

Maybe if all the angels ganged up on godzilla. I'm sure just one angel would beat it up pretty bad, but if it can regenerate or whatever, that would be a problem.

Hmmm, it would be an interesting battle, to say the least. I guess it would depend on which Angel it was. I mean, if it was that spider one, the one that attacked using acid, that one would stand no chance I think. Drip, drip, *angel gets splattered around*

I think most of the Angels would have the upper hand, though a few would be favorites big time. One that comes to mind is the one that dropped from orbit. Get a good enough shot in, & you've got Godzilla pancakes! Another one is the Angel formally known as Unit 4. I say that because not only can it fight, but it can also infect it's opponent by dripping bits of it's true form onto them.

The Angels I think would win hands down though would be the Double Helix one, the one that takes the form of a white glowing cord, from near the end of the series, & the shadow one. With the cord one, it's speed, shape changing powers & infecting capabilities would give me reason to put money on it, big time. The other, well what can I say? Trapped in a pocket universe, within a Sea of Driac (I think it's called), Godzilla wouldn't have much chance to get out. I won't say anymore, even though I would like to, since I don't think everyone is up to that episode.

Damn, don't I sound geeky with this post?!?!? NGE was my first Anime, plus I've got the original series box set, so I guess I might have absorbed almost every bit of info about it I could.

yes, this particular angle i think would have the best chance of sigle-handedly defeating godzilla, as it wouldnt matter if ol lizzard boy regenerated or not.
