Not true. When Shinji escaped from inside Leliel, the angel was torn apart, and its blood was red.

When The dummy plug system on Unit 01 defeated Bardiel, (Unit 03), in one of the most gruesome sequences in the series, Unit 01 tears it to pieces. and before you say all the Eva units have red blood, when Zeruel defeated Unit 02 by cutting off its arms and head, Unit 02 had blue blood.

Yes, Unit-02 was the first EVA to have blue blood, however they went back to red for Unit 03, which became infected then reclassified an Angel. And while you do have a good point about the shadow Angel, didn't he go in the shadow in the ground, then out the sphere? Still, I think that was the only actual Angel with red blood, not considering Rei. I guess I did forget about that one. I stand corrected.

and the angel's "blood type" is blue. i take this to mean its a specific genetic code similar to that of Adam.

and i dont remember EOE stating that angels where humans once....

Going from memory, Misato says it to Shinji while they're driving to get to Unit-01, as they go past the failed EVA heads & spines. She says something like they are humans that rejected human form, & sadly we cannot co-exist.

Due to the conversations she and tabris have in the manga version of evangelion I think she is part angel. Though over a decade and we still do not know. I think that is what makes her fascinating. Best we never get a true answer.

As for her arm falling off. It's mentioned in the manga that she is unstable and needs medication or else she'll die. This is probably because she's a clone.
I've never heard the term "ego barrier" before.
