neon-genisis evangelion (have u ever seen it)

I think I've seen the first couple of episodes. I liked it. I may purchase the dvd's not quite sure if I will or not, I'm not a fan of mecha.

.....if only they had made it longer, given it a less saddening ending, or elaborated on the last line in the 2nd movie (WTF did Asuka mean??)

Well I have seen only one of the movies, i think it was the ending one....and it really, really confused me and it was.....wierd....@_@

I'm going to watch the series one day! I hope i am able to understand it unlike the movie

If the last 2 episodes left you hangen then you have to watch the movie "End of Evangelion." Think of it as a replacement of the last 2 episodes. The final 2 episodes were the human instrumentality project taking place from Shinji's point of view (If you don't know what that is then you need to watch the series over again). It is defenitley one of my favorites mainly because of how deep the story went. If you pay careful attention you will find several relations to the Chirstian faith, especially in the movie.

No they didn't. I don't understand why so many people hated the last two episodes... I thought they were brilliant. I guess too many people just didn't get it or were only watching the series for the action and were dissapointed not to get a flashy ending which is a shame really because the series was so much more than just mecha action. The ending was a great way to bring the whole instrumentality project plot to a close.

yeah, I think they were hoping to see a huge flashy fight in the end (like Asuka vs. the mass produced EVAs in the 2nd movie) and weren't really worried about the other questions that hadn't been answered throught the series

i loved the last episodes,even though i had to watch them 2 times each.lol
