New Evangelion Movies in the works

I hope not, certainly if there's going to be a new ending...

I'd love to see a new ending, the ending for the series was horrible, if I remember right they all said "congratulations, congradulations" The End. I'd want it to be a reality ending, none of this "trying to be deep and artistic" type of stuff. Hideaki made the first movie because he was pressured into it, since no one seemed to like or understand ending, and he was like "fine since all you want is gore that's what you'll get."

I can't wait, I love NGE. Hopefully it's not just a marketing ploy to get more money out of dedicated fans. Even if it is, I will still want to see it :lol2:

But is it still going to be like the original series... as in, deep in meaning (before Anno-san created NGE, he faced depression) like NGE?

The first ending wasn't that bad too. Maybe this version Shinji will have a relationship xD

this anime is the best anime movie ever. BUT death and rebirth wasnt really that good of a film although it did explain to me alot of things. (commentary) BUt The end of Evangelion was the best EVER it was a goregasm of artistry and effort. this is anm inspiration. I cried at the end though because I knew that that was the end of the series. Da same with wolf rain. Or Cowboy Bebop. Yeah.

I think NGE is an absoulute wicked anime no doubt. I did watch the two films 'Death and Rebirth', 'End of Evangelion' and I wasnt to thrilled about them, although they were certainly worth watching. If, there releasing several new films, then I think alot of hard work should be included, and man I really cant wait, to see what these new films turn out like!!!!

I'll have to keep an eye open for this. I happened to love the End of this series. (Both, the series ending and the movie ending) Should be interesting to see what else they'll come up with.
