The first ending wasn't that bad too. Maybe this version Shinji will have a relationship xD

this anime is the best anime movie ever. BUT death and rebirth wasnt really that good of a film although it did explain to me alot of things. (commentary) BUt The end of Evangelion was the best EVER it was a goregasm of artistry and effort. this is anm inspiration. I cried at the end though because I knew that that was the end of the series. Da same with wolf rain. Or Cowboy Bebop. Yeah.

I think NGE is an absoulute wicked anime no doubt. I did watch the two films 'Death and Rebirth', 'End of Evangelion' and I wasnt to thrilled about them, although they were certainly worth watching. If, there releasing several new films, then I think alot of hard work should be included, and man I really cant wait, to see what these new films turn out like!!!!

I'll have to keep an eye open for this. I happened to love the End of this series. (Both, the series ending and the movie ending) Should be interesting to see what else they'll come up with.

It WAS being made by Weta and ADV Films. However, they either weren't able to gather the required funding for the project, or weren't able to find a production studio and director willing to take the risk to create the film. In either case, the Film is now officially on Weta's back burner, and probably won't see the light of day, unless some other Anime based films succeeds, such as James Cameron's 'Battle Angel' project...

Not trying to be a downer or anything, but I'm having a really hard time seeing this actually go through. Even though most people probably didn't see Aeon Flux coming this is a long shot, mainly because the main characters would have very demanding rolls from an acting standpoint and especially from a physical standpoint. I've come across some contraversy over whether the actors should be Japanese or American. There is a lot more information at LiveActionEvangelion.com. Not a 100% sure on the website, just google it.

We will see. The ending of the TV series was really horrible indeed. After the good anime the poor ending was a shock. So Ihope for something more exiting.

Great I love the old show I heard dudes that they have made a new Neon show and I dont you thank that those last movies were scary messed up I mean I love the show but that girl was ate by those white things it was messed up dont you thank that these movies might be messed up Im still happy there making new movies I well go see them .

WOO HEE. I loved Evangalion, it was one of the first Anime I ever saw and number 3 on my personal top 10. I just hope it's as good as the last Evangalion.
