New Evangelion Movies in the works - Page 3

Wow, I find this strangly intersting. I always found the anime to be much to depressing and really not worth watching, and then the ending just made it a complete piece of crap. However, hearing all this might even make me watch the series again and I will probably end up watching these movies when they are released with subs.

"what a surprise.. " that is really make me surprise. a person who sees this anime as a worthless to watch, but you are interested on it... (*confusing). hm.. maybe this is the power of NGE so you are attrachted on... it keep you watch it. *haha.. (did it??). you are ... how to said it? enique..

Im not sure whether I like this news..For me, the anime ending and EoE are already completed classics in my mind, and not to be tampered with anymore..Well but of course if it does come out, I'll be the first few to catch it =P

There are 4 new neon genesis evangalion movies expected to come out in japan the first is expected to come out the summer of 2007.

I'm really hoping (though it's highly doubtful) that Shinji brings his father back, only to deprive him of Instrumentality with Yui.

as far as i understand it, the ending to the original series was far from what the writer intended, and as a reaction to endless criticism and death threats, it just...blew.

i am definitely excited to see how they take the overrated reaction to the original and try to redo it based on some of the original plans.

I think that they needed to make more movies because as much as i liked the anime it didn't seem finished to me. I just hope they do a good job and don't ruin such a great anime

I'm interested in seeing just what these movies will be about exactly. I will go with the flow here and agree that the ending of the series was garbage. However, "End of Evangelion" was superb and did an excellent job replacing the final episodes.
