i dont care, ill see it either way. since its anime, i doubt they would put it in a theatre, but then again, LOTS of ppl like evangelion....

Considering the story board has been written from scratch for this movie, and Karou (may be misspelling his name) will be making his entrance in the beginning as opposed to the end... It should be a new experience for everyone who watches it.

Ah yes, a new ending. Might be interesting to see what happens this time...maybe Rei will rip off Asuka's head and quote Shakespeare ("Alas poor Asuka, I knew her sort of

)...Okay, maybe not.
Any way, all we really need is a definate release date, as I still canot get any better information other than (September 2007 [Japan]). Anyone had any better luck?

no, i report none. although i really hope one is found soon. im even willing to watch it on YouTube....

cant wait for the US release, the main cast is set to voice it again.

Hmmm... It looks like it comes out 9/1/07 in Japan if I read the end of the Trailer correctly...

Can anyone verify this for me?

yes, i think that is right... id say probably about febuary or so of next year for a US release.

The first Evangelion took the #1 spot of Movie of box office receipts in Japan over the weekend, (though it only opened in 84 theaters, a rather small number...)

Japanese Box Office: August 25-26, September 1-2 (Updated) - Anime News Network:

And no one is talking about a Region 1 license yet. With the Studio GAINAX reputation for EXPENSIVE series licenses, combined with the ongoing consolidation of the US Anime distributors, it may be years before we get to see a US release...
