 Credits: 1,028 | Third impact I have recently finished viewing these episodes and would like to propose a question on 3rd impact. For what reason did SEELE decide to use the 'Eva series' instead of the 'Angels' to generate 3rd impact? A friend had suggested differing results. What are your opinions?

Credits: 1,028 | Re: Third impact The 3rd impact was generated to unite all humans into one perfect being. However why is it that SEELE prefered to generate 3rd impact themselves instead of allowing the angels to simply fulfill that goal. Could it be that they thought they could control 3rd impact?

Credits: 210 | Re: Third impact It was inevitable, I believe that SEELE themselves were playing God. That power was too overwhelming anyway. However, if the Third impact didn't occur, In time, history will undoubtibly repat itself.

Credits: 140 | Re: Third impact It is to my understanding that SEELE viewed the current state of the human race as disgusting and had planned to speed up this process using the 3rd Impact as the catalyst. I am still unclear as to what SEELE expected from the Angels concerning a 3rd Impact.
