Its anime insider and its a new copy because the things it talked about are coming up it listed a couple of things and one was cowboy bebop.

The only thing I managed to find was the Cowboy Bebop Remix DVD Collection which went on sale Feb. 5, 2008.

Its the same thing just with some added features. No new series.

New Cowboy Bebop Special Edition - Anime News Network

This article was released in 2005 when the first Remix DVD came out. So this isn't news at all.

I think the magazine was more than likely referring to the new Cowboy Bebop Remix boxset. If Bebop was actually back with a new season or a prequel type deal, the Anime news sites would be on fire with activity.
