Yeah well, that's the problem for people who try to get everything as soon as it is released.
I sometimes forget that the title can be changed for the international release...

True it has always been called "The Movie" in the US but like Hassun said the "Knockin' on heaven's door" was the original name and it possibly was removed so as not to infringe in possible copyright laws.

Here is what the film guide looks like (note the "Knockin' on heaven's door"):

I saw Cowboy Beebop the film for the first time last week,it's amazing! It's pure cinematic.I've not seen any of the series though and wanted to know if it is better than the film? How many episodes is there in the series?
yup I have it as well and it goes along quit well with the sessions, It didn't dissapoint the fans of Bebop. and yeah the title can depend on where your at.
The movie was very well done, the animation was superb. I was also quite fond of the story line as well. It felt like a normal bebop episode though the way the movie progressed, just with better effects and what not.
the movie is definitely a 10/10 !! i love it!! awesome plot! :shoot2: fighting scenes!! and animation!!
