As a fan of Bebop, I also cannot picture Keanu Reeves as Spike. No way.
I'm already mad he ruined another of my favorite characters (John Constantine from the Hellblazer comics).
And I am sure once teasers and photos come out for this I'm going to hate it even more than I do right now, but...

well you can never tell how anime will be made in to live Action just look at the live action Dragon ball Z moive in the usa. your are right Keanu Reeves should have left holly wood after the martix 3 because Constanine made no since to me and besides all the mics were on low or soft in the moive, Hey Reeves go back to Speed.

The DBZ made me want to rip my eyes out. In fact, I walked out of the theater. It was that bad to me.
And you know what... Even I weren't a DBZ fan, and knew nothing about it, I still would have walked out. The movie is so awful just on its own.
I'm worried the same thing will happen to Bebop... Not only with Reeves' suck fest, but that they will try too hard with it. V.V;;
Again, it's still to early on to really start hating it any more... But...

I hope they try to stick with the Anime or the manga, because if they don't have a story from the anime or the manga, then people will total be lost. cowboy bebop should have just made another OVA and cancel the live action moive..
I don't think they would base it on an episode. It will be like the animated movie, but the plots won't be the same. But either I don't really have high expectations for this film, that they may or may not be making.Quote:

Roles like these should really go to no names actors... The fans would appreciate a decent depiction of Spike, and people who don't know Bebop would appreciate a great movie. I guess they figure a "big name" attached to it would draw the crowds. V.V
