Cowboy Bebop Live Action Formally Announced - Page 3

Now, fear of it being 'American-ized' or 'Hollywood-ized' is something I more than understand. (it's the reason why the second Appleseed movie wasn't as good as the first, Hollywood made them change things in it.) I'll admit that (like pretty much the restof you all here) what drew me to anime was the that the story, characters, content, (EVERYTHING!) was just somehow different from all the other stuff made in America. But, like I said earlier, if the movie is a flop, the show will still be as good.

that's exactly what i thought! keanu reeves is either neo or ted: emo or a pothead. he can't possibly pull of Spike, he can't 'flow like water'. the only anime character he could do would be sasuke uchiha.

this is just another bit of proof that hollywood should not touch anime or video game licenses.

Keanu Reeves doesn't have emotion/personality/the ability to read lines without sounding like a moron. He can't be Spike :\

Ugh, there are only a select few anime good enough to be turned into a live action production. Hopefully Bebop doesn't crash and burn like *ahem* Dragonball Z...

No No No No No, it is bad enough Keanu reeves ruined the matrix movies, why on earth are they going to let him near Cowboy Bebop. This is not justice, but the movie should bring more coplayers to the theater then Star Wars or Lord of The Rings.

Does anybody know when this movie is to be released? I think Matt Damon or Val Kilmer would have made a better Spike.

They need someone that looks, acts, and moves like Spike then we have a start. Here's my cast if it was up to me.....

Spike: Johnny Depp
Faye: Eva Mendes
Jet: Jason Statham
Ed: Any cute Japanese girl
