Well worth the price, although I think you can find the entire series in a box set for a lot less. I would never consider myself an otaku, or even well versed enough in anime to tell others what to do, but Cowboy Bebop is so good I think everyone should at least give it a chance.

You can get it much cheaper than that.
And not all the episodes tie together, that's this anime's major flaw.

I have to agree that the biggest let down in this series is that the plots do not always flow together. Sometimes i feel new stories begin so to speak while others seem to have been left unresolved. I suppose this could be a creators style, but I wish things felt more unified with this series at times. I do really like it in spite of this!

Also episodes 1-26 boxed is like 25 bucks give or take at Amazon.

I haven't really watched this series at all but I did see the movie awhile back. It has really good fight scenes and very interesting story plots.
I also looked of the price of on Amazon.com for future reference. I think I will buy it though since the box set that medsed mentioned is only $23. The link is below.

@_@ It only went bad at the end, but everything seem to fit. They just rushed it at the end.

I don't think this is necessarily a flaw; all of the characters had lives and pasts that had nothing to do with the others, and to try to connect them would have required a complicated storyline that probably would have been cheesy anyway. Sure, there are some filler eps, but even those are more than worth watching. In fact, "Mushroom Samba", an ep that does nothing to develop the plot, is one of the best in the whole series.

i agree with you gren. the way the stories are told and connect ads to the style of the anime which is why it is one of the most unique out there. Mushroom Samba is one of my favs to.

ive only seen a few episodes but I think its a good show.
I have the movie it is so awsome, one of the best anime moves of all time

The movie is by far one of the very best out there. I really like the series. i understand that the backgrounds of the characters are very unique and that this is part of what causes there to be less of a flow, if you will, in the story lines. I guess I just feel like things are left undone sometimes and that the story moves in another direction. I still think this is a favorite in our family though.

Also check out deepdiscountdvd.com, they have great prices and they have a good variety of anime.
